Location: Albany (391 Myrtle Ave, Suite 5, Albany, NY 12208)

This role welcomes our patients into our Practice and is the first step in providing them with an exceptional experience. The candidate will be responsible for checking patients in and out, collecting any necessary paperwork as well as patient co-pays.  This role provides front end administrative support including managing incoming faxes, phone calls and monitoring the waiting room.  Upon successful completion of orientation the candidate will be included in the travel rotation of our off-site clinics (ex: Corporate Woods, Schenectady, Troy, etc.)

About the Position

This is a full-time position (Monday – Friday) and the candidate must be flexible with working in our clinics within the Capital Region.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Medical office or schooling related to the health care field strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of health care billing/reimbursement process strongly preferred
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience providing face to face customer interaction

We are looking to add a LPN to our growing Practice!  This position provides nursing support to our providers by providing patient information that impacts the planning, directing, providing and evaluating of patient care. The LPN will serve as a direct care nurse to patients within our Albany, NY offices. Responsibilities include document patient history, obtain & accurately record patient vital signs, document chief complaints and record patient medications and allergies on medication list.  Prepare the patient and necessary supplies for the examination.  Act as liaison between patients, families, referring physicians and other health care workers to ensure that all information is communicated effectively.

About the Position

The candidate must be flexible with working in our clinics within the Capital Region.

  • Minimum 1 year previous LPN experience
  • Current licensure of Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
  • Current CPR certification required

The Vascular Group is seeking a qualified applicant for a position in our Vascular Lab.  We are looking for a Registered Vascular Technologist to perform a variety of noninvasive diagnostic procedures to detect vascular disease.  Including but not limited to duplex ultrasound examinations, pulse volume recordings, segmental Doppler pressure measurements, and treadmill stress studies. This position will complete necessary documentation of tests including reports for hospital and laboratory records, billing forms and laboratory logs. Review patient assessment of signs and symptoms including documentation of patient’s medical and surgical history, medications, and presenting symptoms.

About the Position

This is a full time position that will perform testing at various on-site locations (Vascular Clinic/ Lab, Nursing Units, ER, OR, etc.) and is responsible for the transportation of lab equipment from the vascular laboratory vehicle to and from the various satellite locations.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a vascular laboratory or two years’ experience in a vascular laboratory plus five years’ experience in a general ultrasound department.
  • Successful completion of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography registry examination in both Vascular Technology and Vascular Ultrasound Principles, thus attaining the certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Able to effectively communicate on a wide range of issues in an age-appropriate manner with patients, staff and visitors.
  • Must be able to coordinate resources with patient demands; sets priorities for work assigned and achieves desired results.

This part-time position provides nursing support within the procedure suite.  This is demonstrated by the use of the nursing process to work collaboratively with the health-care team in planning, directing, providing and evaluating patient care.

This is a part time position based in our Albany, NY office.

  • Minimum 1 year previous angiography experience
  • Current license to practice nursing in the State of New York
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Conscious sedation certification required
  • Critical care experience preferred
